GIVING TUESDAY

The clock is ticking—let’s finish the fight!

It’s Giving Tuesday and the final day of the Food Fight. There are just a few hours left to help us win the battle against food insecurity and clinch the Food Fight title for the second year in a row.

Several generous donors have stepped up with matching and challenge gifts, which means every dollar you give today could unlock additional funds and amplify your impact in the fight against student hunger.

Don’t wait—every minute counts! Make your gift before midnight MST and help us turn matching dollars into meals for those who need them most.

Multiply Your Impact!

A new challenge is live! Thanks to the generosity of Daniel Maxey, vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and chief of staff, your gift to CU Denver will go even further. Here’s how: When 20 more donors join the Food Fight, a $1,000 challenge gift will be unlocked. So don’t wait—give now to make an even bigger impact in the fight against food insecurity!

Impact Highlight: Spotlight on Milo's Market

Thank you for joining the Food Fight! Your gift is helping Milo’s Market stay stocked and ready to serve every CU Denver student in need. Click here to watch a Denver7 story about the impact your generosity is making on our community.

When SNAP benefits were suspended nationwide earlier this month, more than half a million Coloradans were impacted—including many CU Denver students facing food insecurity.

When the benefits freeze began, Milo’s Market saw an influx of approximately 1,000 students in need, and the pantry is now serving an average of 100 students every day.

Though SNAP benefits have begun to be restored, many students won’t see those payments in their bank accounts this month, making Milo’s Market their only resource for food.

That’s why your gift to the Food Fight matters so much. Your support provides not just critical nutrition, but a sense of security and hope in a time of uncertainty.

Goal Crushed. Next Stop: $30,000!

In just two days, the CU Denver community rallied to meet our $20,000 Food Fight goal — an incredible show of generosity and compassion. But the work doesn’t stop here. Knowing how much our students depend on Milo’s Market, we’re raising our goal to $30,000 to make an even greater impact.

We’re humbled by the outpouring of support so far — and to keep the momentum going, a generous donor has offered a $2,500 1:1 matching gift to help us reach our new goal even faster.

Let’s keep fighting hunger together! Share the campaign with your friends, colleagues, and networks to help us continue making a difference for our students.
