This scholarship has special meaning for the Northern Arapaho who, along with the Cheyenne and Ute people, are original inhabitants of portions of Colorado, including the downtown Denver area. The Northern Arapaho were displaced and are now based on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. The opportunity to complete a college education on their ancestral lands is especially significant to the Northern Arapaho and funding this scholarship will impact individual students and the Tribe’s future.
