In 2022, the College of Architecture and Planning’s Preservation Program was named in honor of the legendary Dana Crawford, a trailblazer for historic preservation and urban revitalization in Colorado. At CU Denver, we are proud to continue Dana's legacy through the education of students, the celebration of historical legacies across Colorado, and the continued commitment to bringing people together. This program is essential to the holistic education of architecture and planning at CU Denver. CAP is uniquely situated at the gateway of the Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by historic buildings, prehistoric sites, and cultural landscapes at our door. Your philanthropy allows students to engage with and travel to these sites and work on projects that protect our history and cultural heritage. Your support also strengthens our ability to support students through scholarships, experiential learning, and skills workshops.
