What is a Giving Day advocate? Advocates are passionate supporters who play a key role in driving excitement and support for CU Denver’s campaigns or funds. They are storytellers, fundraisers, and champions who share how a particular fund makes a difference. Using their personal networks—friends, family, colleagues, mentors, and more—they inspire others to engage and contribute to the causes they care about.
Becoming an advocate takes only a few minutes. to get started, follow the steps outlined below or watch our quick training video!
Step 1: Create/Login to your account. Scroll down to the "Advocates" section below to get started.
Step 2: Once logged in, go to the Giving Day campaign page (aka the page you are currently on).
Step 3: Scroll down to the "Advocates" section of the page and tap "Advocacy Dashboard".
Step 4: From there you can grab your unique tracking link, create a match/challenge gift, upload a personal video, and track the impact your advocacy work is having on the campaign.
Advocates have access to special toolkit full of templates and images that you're free to use in emails, on social media, and beyond.
